Made from a solid piece of 6061 aluminum and has a type 3 black hardcoat, comes with high quality mounting hardware.  Slot for the detent in many popular ball heads on both sides of the plate cut full length so you can utilize the full 6 inches of plate to help balance your gun on a tripod or more clearance for different magazine lengths.
