Description
- The Ops-Core FAST BUMP (SF) Helmet is designed for less extreme environments where ballistic threats are not a priority, and the focus is on protection from blunt trauma forces, or where the primary need is for integration of mission-configured components. Designed to include all the revolutionary bells and whistles of the FAST series, the Bump (SF) does not disappoint. The shell is constructed of an injection-molded polymer (35% glass-filled Nylon) for an extremely rigid structure. There is no bending or warping often found in other polymer “skater-type” helmets. The second difference is in the night vision shroud. The FAST Bump (SF) features the same Gold Standard MBS (Modular Bungee Shroud) mounted to the shell as all FAST SF configurations. This truly innovative design feature creates an extremely rigid and stable platform for attaching night vision mounts. The Ops-Core FAST Bump (SF) retains all the features of the FAST family of helmets.
- Ops-Core Counterweight Kit. The Ops-Core Counterweight Kit is a customizable weight management system with five (5) 70g removable weights that fit into five elastic pockets. Designed for use on helmets outfitted with Ops-Core ARC Rails, the total weight of the system is 0.85 lbs. Each internal elastic pocket can stretch to fit one or two weights. When one weight is installed, the elastic can stretch further to accommodate a battery as well for dual purpose storage. the elastic can fit AA, AAA, or 123 batteries.
- Ops-Core SOTR (Special Operations Tactical Respirator) The half-mask Special Operations Tactical Respirator (SOTR) is designed to provide protection against a wide range of oil- and non-oil-based particulate contaminants. SOTR is a low profile respirator mask that featur. es 99.97% filtration efficiency against airborne particulates, including lead, asbestos, lubricant mist, explosive gunfire, and more. The user-based design prioritizes both safety and comfort, with two exhalation valves for easier breathing and a flexible, lightweight silicone facepiece made to fit a range of facial types.
- Ops-Core STEP-IN® Visor. Specifically designed to seamlessly integrate with Night Vision Goggles (NVGs), the Ops-Core STEP-IN Visor is the ideal solution for users requiring full eye protection in addition to NVG accessibility. Featuring removable gaskets and tool-less interchangeable lenses, the STEP-IN Visor assembly is easily configured for various mission requirements. The STEP-IN Visor is a low profile, one size fits all system that is fully compatible with Ops-Core and Gentex helmets that use Ops-Core Accessory Rail Connectors (ARCs).
- Ops-Core® AMP Communication Headset – Connectorized. The Ops-Core® Adaptive Mission Platform (AMP™) Communication Headset is an advanced communication headset that integrates seamlessly with Ops-Core® helmets to create the ideal lightweight headborne system for any mission and environment and was selected by United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) as part of the Communication Accessory Suite Land (CASL) program and the Special Operations Forces Personal Equipment Advanced Requirements Family of Tactical Headborne Systems (SPEAR FTHS – Ops-Core FAST SF).
- Ops-Core® AMP Helmet Rail Mount Kit (Arms Only). The Ops-Core® Adaptive Mission Platform (AMP™) Quick Change Helmet Rail Mount arms allow for mounting of the AMP to the rear of Ops-Core ARC Rails, leaving the top portion of the rails free for mounting accessories, such as lights, cameras, etc. This also creates better helmet stabilization and a counterbalancing effect of forward shroud mounted devices, such as night vision devices.
- Ops-Core® AMP NFMI Earplug Kit. The Ops-Core AMP NFMI Ear Plug Kit, when used in conjunction with the AMP Headset preserves the 3D Hear Through Technology and the other features of the Standard Variant, while also adding the capability to use wireless, battery-less Near Field Magnetic Induction earplugs. By using a control on the side of the headset, the end-user can transfer the audio channels to the NFMI earplugs, which require no separate power source, and instead are wireless powered by the headset itself, doubling up on hearing protection and increasing the AMP’s NRR to 34 dB when used together. When doubled up hearing protection is not required, the NFMI variant can still be used without the earplugs like the Standard variant.
